Charlotte Parent

Charlotte Parent is an illustrator born in Quebec City. In 2017, she obtained her Bachelor of Visual Arts from Concordia University, where she focused on drawing. She works mainly in children's literature. In 2023, her first two children's books were published - Le bonnet magique (with Mireille Messier) by Comme des géants and Le premier arbre de Noël (with Ovila Fontaine) by La Pastèque. Charlotte likes to represent the magic in the ordinary and the tiny. Her illustrations are both soft and playful, marked by simple shapes and rich palettes.
